The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services explained the procedure for servicing water supply networks built by citizens at their own expense. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry.

The ministry said:
- If facilities and devices of water supply and sanitation are owned by citizens, they are obliged to ensure their operation, as well as to maintain them in technically working condition.
In addition, owners are obliged to ensure access of representatives of the organization engaged in water supply and sanitation to the facilities for repairing damage and not to prevent the accession of other persons to them if technically possible.
At the same time, the Ministry drew attention to the fact that the Law of March 12, 2026 No. 131-Z “On drinking water supply and sanitation” provides for the possibility of servicing a specialized organization on a contractual basis of water supply and sanitation networks built by citizens at their own expense. For conclusion, a standard form of a contract for the provision of services for the operation of such networks is provided.
