What was the refrigerator a few decades ago, as today produce household appliances — learned representatives of business circles of the Ulyanovsk region. The delegation visited ATLANT CJSC on September 30, where they got acquainted with the history of the enterprise and its products, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
The tour for the guests was conducted by the General Director of ATLANT CJSC - Director of the Minsk Refrigeration Plant Andrey Dikun. We started with an exhibition, where modern refrigerators, freezers and washing machines are presented.
The next point of the visit was the Atlant Museum. In its exposition, models of different years are collected - this is a kind of chronicle of the enterprise. One of the most unusual exhibits is a wooden refrigerator of the XVI century.
The history of the company began in 1959. In 1962, the first Minsk-1 refrigerator was produced. In the following decades, the plant mastered new models, increased production and entered foreign markets. Today, ATLANT is not only refrigerators and freezers, but also washing machines, commercial refrigeration equipment, as well as its own production of components and industrial equipment.

After the museum, the guests went directly to the shops of the Minsk Refrigeration Plant. Here the delegation saw the production with their own eyes, got acquainted with the technological processes and equipment.
- We understand how important it is to preserve our technologies, production and competences. At some point, many businesses were shut down, production chains were disrupted, and some connections were lost. Therefore, our business mission is associated not only with the restoration of these ties, but also with the creation of new areas for cooperation, said Sergey Noskov, General Director of the Center for Competences for Industrial Development of the Ulyanovsk Region.
Such meetings provide an opportunity not just to look at production from the outside, but to directly discuss what tasks enterprises face and where the interests of potential partners may overlap.
- Now we will look at the company from the point of view of possible cooperation. If you have new designs, projects, or production tasks that need help, it’s important to talk about it openly. Our task is to hear what the company needs and understand how we can be useful for our part. There are no strangers here – all of them are friends, Noskov said.

For Atlant CJSC, industrial cooperation is not only the production of finished products. The company has its own technical base, develops the production of components and equipment, improves technological processes.
After the tour, the guests continued their communication in a business format – they exchanged contacts and discussed areas in which cooperation can continue.
