Wolfovich at Dazhynki in Korelichi: our brand is food security, peace and order on earth

The best workers of the village of Grodno region are honored at the Dazhynki festival-fair in Korelichi. The ceremony began with the announcement of the welcoming address of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, which was read out by the State Secretary of the Security Council, authorized representative of the Head of State for the Grodno region Alexander Wolfovich.

- All the tasks set for the Grodno region are always fulfilled. This year, the region is the second in the country in terms of yield and gross harvest. Here is a special people who are distinguished by hard work, hospitality and love for their native land. Look at what is happening in the world today! There are new threats, various digital technologies, artificial intelligence and so on. Robots, unmanned and ground-based systems are trying to replace humans. What is for people in the West is relegated to the background. And in our country there is a holiday that we celebrate in each region, honoring people who are connected with the land, our harvesters, village workers. It was born a long time ago, it was transformed, and in 1996, thanks to our President, a tradition appeared again that demonstrates and shows what our country is like. We do not threaten anyone, as we are accused, we do not make any claims to anyone. We work, we work. Our brand is food security, peace and order that we can share with everyone. Therefore, this holiday really reflects both domestic and foreign policy towards their own people and those outside the country. This is a good holiday that people have been waiting all summer to pay tribute to the farmers and outline plans for the future. Alexander Volfovich also noted that when it is necessary to help farmers, the military, people in the uniforms of all structures respond with joy, showing that we are united both in harvesting bread and in protecting our native country, our borders, if necessary.
