Representatives of the Belarusian Union of Women appealed to the President with a request to visit the Palace of Independence. Of course, the Head of State could not refuse the ladies, and even in the Year of the Belarusian Woman. The first representatives of the Gomel region visited the Palace of Independence and thus launched the republican project. After them, representatives of the beautiful half from all regions of Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk regions visited the palace. The most important and popular question of recent weeks for all the guests of the Palace of Independence, who were here working or visiting and, of course, drew attention to the unique art object “Map of Unity”, was one: where is the Mogilev region? The answer to this question was given today by the participants of the Republican campaign “We are different, but we are together”, which continues. As part of the project, representatives of the Mogilev region not only visited the main symbol of statehood, but also became part of history. Village workers, doctors, teachers, workers of culture and industry were invited to the excursion to the palace - women who make our Belarus better every day by their work. Each of them is an example of how to be successful in the profession, as well as a loving mother and wife.

Tours at the Palace of Independence are a relatively young tradition. In 2013, by the personal order of the Head of State, the palace was opened for visitors: citizens of our country as part of delegations come here no less than heads of state or members of governments. Representatives of the Mogilev region got acquainted with the features of each of the halls. Each room is unique, with its own unique style. Modern solutions are organically intertwined with national color. Special attention to detail: all elements are created by hand by Belarusian craftsmen. Design engineer of the Mogilev Automobile Plant of the BelAZ branch of OJSC Natalia Kucepalenko in the Palace of Independence for the first time, and therefore every detail was considered especially carefully:

- I’ve been dreaming of visiting here for a long time and now my dream has come true. You feel like you're part of a big story. The tour gives an opportunity to touch the most important events, pass the same halls where the Head of State works. And the main feeling is undoubtedly pride in our President, for our country and our people.

For more than a decade, the number of people who want to visit the palace does not run out. Over the past year alone, more than ten thousand people visited the tour here and every year their number increases significantly. Emotions cannot be conveyed in words, say representatives of Mogilev region. But it is obvious that this day will forever remain in the memory of each of them.

- Visiting the Palace of Independence was my dream. When I came here, I knew it was almost done. When I got inside, I couldn’t hold back tears of joy. Of course, we are grateful to the President that he heard us, Belarusian women, supported this initiative and we had the opportunity to visit here, in the palace, - says the head of the sector for ideological work of RUE Mogilevoblagaz Alexander Kolesneva. - Support is very important for women and, of course, it is pleasant that the Head of State supports us. It's proud, responsible. And the realization that we represent the Mogilev region, where the President is from, imposes a special responsibility and awareness that we cannot and in no case should not let down our Belarusian leader, Alexander Lukashenko.

Alexandra Kolesneva stressed that the emotions she received will take home and be sure to share her impressions with her colleagues, the company’s staff:

I am sure that I will not have time to leave the palace before I write a post on social networks about what I visited here and what positive energy and emotions I managed to feed myself during this time. Of course, I recommend my colleagues to come here, because to visit here is just a joy.

Excursion "route" runs through the Red Hall, the Hall of credentials. You can even visit the reception room of the President, as well as the Museum of the Palace of Independence with a truly unique exposition. Deputy Director of the spiritual and educational center named after St. George (Konissky) of the Mogilev diocese Larisa Ryabova in an interview with journalists drew attention to the fact that Belarus is a multi-ethnic, multi-confessional country. And one of the main advantages of Belarusians is that we live in peace and harmony. And we pass these values on to the younger generation:

This is evidenced by the large-scale republican project “Schools of Peace”, in which we teach young people to live in peace and harmony. I am deeply convinced that the revival and prosperity of Belarus is connected with the universal revival of spirituality. The people who have not forgotten the faith of their fathers, who preserve this faith and teach to preserve the youth, the people who are united by the ideas, age-old traditions of Christianity, they simply must be happy, such as we are today. Belarusians are really kind-hearted, hardworking, we have pure thoughts. Being here, I would like to sincerely wish strength to our President and all those who gather in these halls.

Larisa Ryabova stressed that being in the palace, she realized in a new way how important it is to preserve peace and order on earth.

- I will tell our young people even more about how difficult things are and how important it is to preserve peace and order in our country. Every moment, every minute, we have to understand that we are not just on this earth. And our task, the task of future generations, is to preserve our country and preserve order, so that Belarus prospers and develops.

The culmination of the tour was the introduction of a fragment of Mogilev region in the general “Map of unity”. Each portrait is a separate story, but together they form a single image of a strong, beautiful, hardworking Belarus. Exciting finale and original accent of the tour is the transfer of the Belarusian style. Through it, the project participants left their wishes to their native Belarus and the President as a guarantor of peace and prosperity. According to the chairman of the Mogilev regional public organization “Belarusian Union of Women” Alla Galushko, the woman is imbued with love and tenderness:

- This is a very gentle work that personifies the symbol of a woman mother. The lining harmoniously depicts a woman who is expecting a child and a woman who holds a small child in her hands. This is a kind of message to all women of Belarus so that we carefully preserve and create the history of our country. And history is our children. As our President says, we should have children, because there is no more comfortable and beautiful place than our country.

Speaking about the impressions of the tour, Alla Galushko noted that the Palace of Independence impresses with its interiors, scale and decoration:

- Impressive of its grandeur, its beauty. In addition to the pride that everything here was created by Belarusians and from Belarusian materials, there is an understanding that Belarusians are really hardworking and we do everything qualitatively. It is my honor, joy and happiness to lead the women’s union. Today, there are representatives of various professions here, and everyone makes their contribution to the development of our country. We are doing what the Head of State said: everyone in his or her workplace, being active and with a civic position, we are trying to contribute and leave our small history, which is becoming big, as on the “Map of Unity”, which consists of the faces of Belarusian women from all regions of our country. It is symbolic that women who came from the region where the President was born will bring their share to Belarus. Our country has a female face and such a map is a kind of amulet of Belarus.
