As a result of the riots after the match of the English Premier League (EPL) between Liverpool and Manchester City, ten people were detained and one law enforcement officer received a serious facial injury, Reuters reports, citing Merseyside police.
A police officer was injured in the detention of a man on the street outside the Liverpool stadium and was forced to seek help in hospital.
Also among the detainees are five suspects in chanting offensive chants about the tragedy, one suspect in violation of public order in a state of alcoholication and assault, two participants in the fight and one threw foreign objects on the field.
