MINSK defeated Victoria in the Belarusian basketball championship

In the third round of the BETERA-Belorussian basketball championship among men's teams "MINSK" on its site defeated the BOK "Victoria" - 91:72, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

The club from Brest lost twice before the current round. First, the current champion Grodno-93 (71:89), and then Vitebsk Rubon (80:86). However, Victoria in both matches played well, giving the fight to the favorites. MINSK at the start of the championship defeated Grodno-93-GrSU (104:48), but lost to Rubon (73:79).

The capital club began the match against Victoria confidently - 9: 2. But the guests were not going to give up. Vladislav Lagodich, Alexander Kalashnikov, Denis Sivatsky did everything so that his counterpart did not increase a large advantage. The first quarter of the visiting team lost 13:24. In the second, MINSK had a serious failure. The wards of Eduard Kemen unsuccessfully acted in defense and attack. After six minutes, the favorite scored just one point and burned 25:32. The hosts managed to straighten this roll. By the big break, they conceded only one point to the opponent (38:39). The greatest contribution to the breakthrough was made by Vadim Stubeda and Pavel Rabushko, who effectively acted under the ring.

Tension came out the third quarter, in which there was an equal struggle. The capital club broke ahead and increased the advantage to seven points, but in the end very easily parted with this advantage, not playing in the best way in defense. The gap dried up to two points, and by the beginning of the final period, the scoreboard illuminated 61:57 in favor of MINSKA. The fourth ten minutes did not bring a positive result to the guests. Their opponent played out, regularly gaining points in almost every attack. “Victoria”, which previously worked in cold blood in the attack, lost its fuse, lost creativity. The preponderance of Kemen's guys grew by leaps and bounds. Around the middle of the quarter, the intrigue died. Although the Brestmen fought to the last. And when the snails came out, they did a great job. Maxim Moskalchuk and Frank Sidze played "alley-oop". Moskalchuk made a high gear on the ring, Shidze caught the ball in the air without landing in the ring. It was very spectacular. MINSK won a landslide victory 91:72. The most productive owners were Maxim Lutych (16), Rabushko (13), Stubeda (12), Danila Semenyuk and Maxim Moskalchuk (11 each).
