Police in Latvia came on a night call to break up a hedgehog fight with a badger

In the Latvian town of Aizput in the middle of the night played out an unusual scene – on the staircase of an apartment building came together in a fight badger and hedgehog. About the incident told the chief of police of the South Kurzem region Ieva Ilster, writes sb.by.

According to RIA Novosti, residents complained of a strong noise. When the outfit arrived at the scene, law enforcement officers caught a real “fight” of forest animals – it was accompanied by piercing sounds.

When the police appeared, the badger immediately fled, and the hedgehog, as far as he could, also hurried to leave the “battlefield”. The animals returned to the street, and then their fate was no longer in the area of responsibility of the police. A curious nuance: despite the scale of the “battle”, the police received only one call complaining of noise.
