Tour of GITIS students organized in Yasnaya Polyana

Next weekend, the Yasnaya Polyana House of Culture will host tour performances by fourth-year students of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts.

The guys from GITIS workshop of People's Artist of Russia Valery Sarkisov will show 2 productions. This is the speech performance “And this was only the beginning...” and the comedy “Dear Women”.

The first production, as reported by the editors in the press service of the museum-estate of Leo Tolstoy “Yasnaya Polyana”, was created by students under the guidance of director-teacher Victoria Kosenko:

Through rhythm and stage performance, the artists offer viewers to listen to the poems of Mikhail Lermontov “Tambov Treasurer” and David Samoilov “Julius Klompus” and “Gypsies” to feel how the stories of different eras echo.

And “Dear Women” is based on the comedy of Alexander Ostrovsky “Rich Brides” by the teacher of the acting faculty Marina Orel.

“MK in Tula” wrote: recently the Ministry of Culture awarded the Tula region for the implemented “Pushkin cards”. The Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev reported that the region became the best in Russia in the implementation of the program at the end of last year.
