A student from Alchevsk Linda-Cecilia Latour took part in the concert “Infinity Caravan” of the XXIII International Festival “Moscow Meets Friends”. The performance took place on October 8 in the Beethoven Hall of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
The festival is organized by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation. In 2026, it was held from 1 to 10 October under the motto “Light of mercy...” and was dedicated to the memory of the Executive Director of the Foundation Catherine Shirman. Concerts were held at several venues in Moscow, including the Svetlanov Hall of the House of Music, the Rachmaninovsky Hall of the Conservatory and the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theatre.
“Participation in such a large-scale cultural event is a significant achievement for the young performer and a great pride for our city,” said the head of Alchevsk Svetlana Grebenkova.
Behind each such success are years of work, determination and love of music. Separate words of gratitude, the head of the city addressed to the teacher Larisa Sergeevna Tkachuk for professionalism and contribution to the development of young talent, as well as Linda’s parents for supporting her daughter.
“We are proud of the talented youth of Alchevsk!” – said Svetlana Grebenkova.
