The Bank of Russia has decided to keep the rate at the current level of 14% after a continuous cycle of monetary easing (MCP) for a year and a half. The decision coincided with market expectations - 23 of the 30 economists polled by Vedomosti expected such a scenario. The members of the Board of Directors considered only the option of maintaining the rate, said during a press conference the Chairman of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina.
