Why business has tripled its debt to the state in six years
The volume of outstanding accounts receivable on advances issued by the state increased more than 3 times over six years: from 477.2 billion rubles in 2020 to 1.5 trillion rubles by the end of 2025, follows from the conclusion of the Accounts Chamber on the report on the execution of the federal budget for 2025. Over the past year, the figure increased by 182 billion rubles, or 13.6%, the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber Boris Kovalchuk drew attention during a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes on October 9.
