Restrictions on the work of migrants in taxis in 2027 are planned to be established in eight regions, Vedomosti calculated on the basis of the draft government resolution “On establishing for 2027 the permissible share of foreign workers used by business entities engaged in certain types of economic activity in Russia”. We are talking about Mordovia, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Sverdlovsk, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk and Jewish autonomous regions. Another region – the Kaluga region – imposes a ban on migrants to work as couriers. The document prepared by the Ministry of Labor was approved at the Russian Trilateral Commission in late October, the next stage is the signing by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
