500 centners of potatoes per hectare is not the limit. Cleaning of second bread continues in Belarus

According to operational data, on October 5, potatoes in the country were removed from 14 thousand hectares - 63 percent of the plan. 461 thousand tons of average yield of 332 centners per hectare were dug up, which is 13 centners higher than last year. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In the Mogilev region, 119 thousand tons have been dug up, Minsk - 114 thousand, Brest - 95 thousand, Gomel - 51 thousand, Grodno - 49 thousand, Vitebsk - 33 thousand.

The largest area of second bread among the regions in the Minsk region is more than 6 thousand hectares.

- Slutsk and Nesvizh districts have already completed potato harvesting, - said the Chairman of the Committee on agriculture and food of the regional Executive Committee Sergey Primachenko. They have small areas of this culture. But in Smolevichsky — 761 hectares, Pukhovichsky — 810, Stolbtsovsky — 902. I am glad that more than half of the second bread has been excavated.

In the leaders in yield Mogilev region - 398 centners per hectare. At the same time, in the Klichevsky district - 507, Kirov - 439, Shklovsky - 436. An excellent result was achieved in the UKSP "Volunteer Farm" of Klichevsky district - 550 centners per hectare.

- In previous best years, the indicator was 450 centners, said First Deputy Director Alexander Kuznetsov. Now the technology and variety remain the same. We believe that the favorable weather helped.

A significant increase in yield and gross collection of sales problems for the economy will not create. There is a storage for 12 thousand tons, where the entire harvest will fit. In addition to the domestic market, there is an intention to sell for export.

RUE Tolochinsky Cannery has the largest area of potatoes in the Vitebsk region - half of 2 thousand hectares in the region. 600 hectares have been removed. Yields at first glance may seem modest - 300 centners per lap.

- It should be borne in mind that 70 percent of all areas are occupied by a specific type of “innovator”, explained the director Andrey Murashko. It always has yields lower than traditional varieties, because it is intended for the manufacture of French fries. These are the most important products of the company.

Other jobs. According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, 9 million 533 thousand tons of grain were threshed in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, taking into account rapeseed and corn. In Brest region - 1 million 761 thousand tons, Vitebsk - 989 thousand, Gomel - 1 million 148 thousand, Grodno - 1 million 880 thousand, Minsk - 2 million 517 thousand, Mogilev - 1 million 238 thousand.

The land trust was raised on an area of 43 thousand hectares - almost 100% of the plan. 156 thousand tons of flax trusts were harvested.

614 thousand tons of hay were harvested - 86 percent of the plan, 12 million 825 thousand tons of hay - 90 percent, 12 million 241 thousand tons of silo - 61 percent. All herbal feed - 7 million 300 thousand tons of feed units - 72 percent of the plan.

Corn on the silo removed from 597,000 hectares — 63 percent of the plan.

Accumulated 359 thousand tons of active substance of all types of mineral fertilizers — 208 percent of the plan.

Sugar beets were removed from an area of 50 thousand hectares - 46 percent of the plan. 2 million 311 thousand tons of root crop with an average yield of 465 centners per hectare were dug up.

In the Minsk region, 889 thousand tons of sweet root were dug up, Grodno - 809 thousand, Brest - 382 thousand, Mogilev - 204 thousand, Vitebsk - 20 thousand, Gomel - 7 thousand.

We collected 81 thousand tons of open ground vegetables with a yield of 324 centners per hectare, which is 22 centners higher than last year.
