Annual inflation in September was 6.35%

Inflation in Russia in September 2026 in annual terms amounted to 6.35% (in August, the figure compared to the same period last year was 7.98%), follows from the operational data of Rosstat.

Consumer prices for the month increased by 0.35% (in August - by 0.34%). Since the beginning of the year, compared to December 2025, accumulated inflation has reached 5.04%. The basic consumer price index, which excludes short-term changes in prices for certain goods and services subject to seasonal and administrative factors, increased by 0.49% for the month, and by 4.59% since the beginning of the year.
