The Russian government partially lifted the ban on the export of diesel fuel in pursuance of the agreements of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The decision comes into force on October 10. At this stage, it will allow to supply 500 thousand tons of diesel fuel to the world market.
"In pursuance of the decision, Russian oil companies, in agreement with the government, will immediately start contracting diesel fuel supplies with foreign counterparties," the statement reads.
