8.9 thousand doctors receive a special social payment from the SFR Department for Chuvashia

Since the beginning of 2026, the department has appointed such a support measure to medical workers of primary health care, central district and district hospitals, stations and emergency medical departments. This year, 1,438.1 million rubles were allocated for additional payments to doctors. The amount of payment is calculated on the basis of work results and total hours worked.

Doctors and nurses of medical organizations included in the state and municipal health care system and participating in the compulsory medical insurance program are entitled to a special payment. The amount of payment is from 4.5 to 50 thousand rubles, depending on the type of medical organization, the category of a specialist and the settlement where he works.

The largest payment per month is 50 thousand rubles. It is provided to doctors serving residents of the village with a population of no more than 50 thousand people, paramedics, nurses and obstetricians are paid 30 thousand rubles.

In settlements with a number of 50 to 100 thousand people, the payment to doctors is up to 29 thousand rubles, and to average medical personnel - up to 13 thousand rubles, in settlements with a number of more than 100 thousand people, the payment is 11-18 thousand rubles and up to 8 thousand rubles, respectively.

The development of digital services of the Social Fund relieves our doctors from the need to apply to the SFR department for a special social payment. It is appointed without application on the basis of electronic information submitted by medical organizations. At the end of each month, hospitals form a register of employees eligible for payment, calculate its size and transmit information to us, said Valery Nikolaev, Head of the SFR Chuvashia Department.

Payment is appointed within 7 working days from the date of receipt of information from the medical organization. It is important to note that the special social payment is not included in the calculation of average earnings, is not subject to income tax and is not subject to withholding on writs of execution.
