“Auchan” commented on Putin’s decree on the transfer of business to external management

“Auchan Retail Russia” has sent a request for clarification in connection with the presidential decree on the transfer of the company to external management. This was reported by TASS press service of the company.

“After receiving the relevant information, we will be able to provide a more detailed comment,” the company said. They assured that now “Auchan” and all its facilities continue to operate normally, without any changes.

Yesterday, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the transfer of the Russian structure to the French corporation Auchan in the temporary management of L.E.V. Management. By the same decree, the Russian assets of Nestle and the former Leroy Merlin were transferred to temporary management.

According to the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, one of the factors of this decision is the ownership of companies from those unfriendly countries that are actively involved in hostilities against Russia.
