Aeroflot Group ordered 90 MS-21 aircraft from Rostec. Deliveries of the first batch of 18 aircraft will begin in 2027. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the presentation of new civil aviation facilities.

In essence, we are talking about a large-scale, long-term contract that will be loaded with our aircraft manufacturers, their subcontractors and contractors. I hope that its implementation will be carried out in strict accordance with the planned schedule, without delays and disruptions, Putin said.

Aeroflot has signed a contract with three Rostec companies – the United Aircraft Corporation, the leasing company Aviacapital-service and the United Engine Corporation. The contract runs until 2032.

MS-21 is a medium-haul narrow-body passenger aircraft designed for 163-211 passengers. After 2028, a shortened version of the MS-21 will be presented, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said.
