An additional volume of diesel fuel was delivered to Zaporozhye NPP // Likhachev: Rosatom performed an additional delivery of diesel fuel to ZNPP

Rosatom employees delivered an additional batch of diesel fuel to the Zaporozhye NPP. This was reported by the Director General of the state Corporation Alexei Likhachev.

“No matter how difficult it was, we also had an additional delivery of fuel,” Mr. Likhachev told reporters (quoted by RIA Novosti), “and there was a rotation of IAEA experts literally this past week.”.

Zaporozhye nuclear power plant – the largest in Europe – stopped electricity production on September 11, 2022. All reactors are in cold shutdown mode. The station has been powered by backup diesel generators since late August. The head of the IAEA Rafael Grossi warned about the shortage of fuel.
