The Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov said that uninterrupted fuel supplies to gas stations in the region will be restored by October. According to him, there are enough diesel fuel reserves in the region, but the need for AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline still persists. Additional batches of these brands are already being sent to the Stavropol Territory.
The agreement that the regional administration intends to sign can also help resolve the fuel crisis. According to Mr. Vladimirov in Telegram, agreements with one of the private fuel companies will reduce the margin on gasoline coming to the gas station. The difference between the purchase price and the market price should not exceed 6%, he said.
Problems with fuel in the Stavropol Territory began in the summer due to a decrease in reserves at the refinery. In June, some filling stations limited the supply of gasoline, and in July, after the receipt of additional batches, the limit for passenger cars was increased to 40 liters. By the end of the month, some gas stations removed restrictions, and the rest increased the amount of vacation. In mid-August, the regional headquarters reported an improvement in the situation: the daily volume of fuel sales in the region was about 2.5 thousand tons. The regional authorities were waiting for complete stabilization by mid-September, when refineries will return from repairs.
