Siluanov: by the end of the year, the NWF can replenish up to 1 trillion rubles

According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, funds in the National Welfare Fund (NWF) by the end of 2026 will increase by 600 billion to 1 trillion rubles. The head of the department Anton Siluanov told the news service “Vesti”.

"The general National Welfare Fund at the end of the year may amount to about 5 trillion rubles," the minister said. According to him, the current situation allows us to restore the previously used funds of the Fund.

According to Anton Siluanov, from 2022 from the NWF spent 15 trillion rubles. In early July, the Finance Minister said that the external market situation allows to move to the accumulation of funds in the Fund. At the same time, in July, the volume of the NWF decreased by 383.3 billion rubles and amounted to 12.72 trillion rubles.
