As previously reported by Kommersant, in the first half of 2026, retail sales of goods for patients with diabetes in Russia increased by 18-64% for the year. Pharmacy chains talked about a sharp increase in demand for NMG devices. In patient organizations, such dynamics is associated with the instability of preferential provision. As noted in ANO “Diaresurs”, patients have difficulties with obtaining prescriptions, and in the public procurement system there are failures and delays.
In response, the Ministry of Health recalled that the provision of citizens with medicines and medical devices is attributed to the powers of regional authorities. “In case of problems with obtaining preferential medicines and medical devices, we recommend that citizens contact the Roszdravnadzor hotline to resolve the issue on the merits,” the ministry advised.
In the material “Kommersant” “Glucose jumped measurements”.
