The Ministry of Finance has prepared a draft federal budget for 2027-2029
The Ministry of Finance of Russia submitted to the government a package of budget bills, including the draft federal budget for 2027 and for the planning period of 2028 and 2029. This was reported by the press service of the department.

In addition, among the documents are bills on the features of the federal budget for three years, as well as on the introduction of separate changes to the Tax Code to increase the sustainability of the budget system.
The plan envisages an annual federal budget deficit of 2% of GDP. The main guidelines of the budget policy in 2027-2029 are the fulfillment of social obligations of the state, the country’s defense, social support for combatants in Ukraine, as well as ensuring Russia’s technological leadership.
“The draft budget is balanced. It will allow fulfilling all the obligations of the state and maintaining macroeconomic stability in case of any possible changes, the press service of the Finance Minister Anton Siluanov quoted. According to him, the program should ensure the sustainability of finances and conditions for long-term economic development.
