In the Tver region orders Wildberries will deliver mobile PVZ

Wildberries in test mode launched in the Tver region delivery of orders through a mobile issue point - a car shop. According to the results of testing, the marketplace will “consider the possibility of scaling” this format, said TASS in the combined company Wildberries & Russ (RWB).

The pilot project covers 12 settlements in the Krasnokholmsk municipal district, where there are no usual points for issuing orders Wildberries. These are Bekren, Polyany, Trofimovo, Rogachevo, Dor, Yurovo, Mogochi, Remenniki, Trenches, Khvoshchino, Black and Big Rogozino. The shop with orders will arrive four days a week on schedule.

To use the new delivery format, buyers can place an order on the site or in the application, specify the address and choose delivery by courier. After that, the order will go to the PVZ in Red Hill, from where the shop will pick up the orders and deliver them along the route. The new format will allow to receive orders directly in their settlements to residents of sparsely populated and remote territories.

According to the service “Yandex Cards”, in Russia, the growth rate of the number of new points of order issuance (PHZ) decreased. Over the year, the number of such facilities increased by 25% and now amounts to 260 thousand points throughout the country. A year earlier, the increase was estimated at 33%. Analysts believe that the development of PVZ was influenced by attacks on the logistics infrastructure of the largest market participants - Ozon and Wildberries.
