“Now the second vaccine is on the way – against ragweed allergy,” Ms. Skvortsova said during a speech at the Bioprom forum held in Gelendzhik. Russia is also developing vaccines against meningococcal infection, dengue fever and personalized cancer vaccines, said the head of the FMBA.
The first Russian vaccine for birch pollen allergy was registered last week. This development of the FMBA together with the Vienna Medical University was first announced in 2021. Before the next dusting season, it is planned to vaccinate up to 60,000 patients.
