The Moscow Arbitration Court sided with the Rusal group and canceled the warning of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) about the need to change the terms of aluminum supply. This is reported by TASS with reference to the source. The FAS told the agency that they intend to appeal the decision.
The regulator opened an antitrust case against Rusal in July. The reason was the failure to comply with the warning on the adjustment of aluminum prices, which the Agency issued in March. The holding was accused of selling aluminum to Russian companies more than to foreign buyers. According to the FAS, when calculating domestic prices, Rusal focused on the European market, but now Russian aluminum is supplied mainly to Asia, where prices are lower.
