Ostafyevo Airport is closed for aircraft service. Also, the eponymous air cargo and passenger multilateral checkpoint across the border stopped working. The corresponding resolution was signed on October 5 by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The document is published on the website of legal acts.
Ostafyevo was opened in 1934. In 2000, it began to serve passenger air transportation. In January 2024, the airport was excluded from the register of state aviation. In December 2025, Gazprom sold the Ostafyevo airport complex to the Moscow City Property Department for 2.724 billion rubles.
