Since the beginning of this year, Dagestani farmers have laid gardens on an area of more than 607 hectares. At the same time, the planned figure was 514 hectares, the Ministry of Agriculture of the region reported.

Thus, the plan was exceeded by 18 percent. The main volume of new perennial plantings fell on Suleiman-Stalsky district, where the company "Polosa" laid gardens on 385 hectares.

In general, out of the total area of new gardens, 200 hectares are super-intensive, and more than 100 hectares are intensive. Currently, farmers are starting to lay autumn gardens.
