Belarus and Mongolia have identified the most promising groups of goods for deliveries to the markets of the two countries using the electronic infrastructure of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. Details sb.by reported in the press service of BUCE.

In terms of exports to Mongolia, it is planned to focus on agricultural and wood products, and in terms of imports to Belarus - on raw materials and materials for the textile industry. These issues, as well as measures to attract Mongolian business to the Belarusian exchange platform, were discussed during the multi-industry exhibition Ulaanbaatar Partnetrship, which takes place on September 17-20 in the capital of Mongolia - Ulaanbaatar.

- In order to ensure a balanced and mutually beneficial nature of the Belarusian-Mongolian exchange trade, it is planned to concentrate efforts on both export and import directions. Now Mongolia is a net importer of Belarusian goods through the exchange platform. This year it is mainly skim milk powder, while in 2024-2025 the bulk of exchange transactions fell on the purchase of white crystalline sugar. It is obvious that the product range should be expanded, including through supplies from Mongolia. For example, in Belarus there is a demand for high-quality textile raw materials, which for several years has been successfully implemented at the exchange trading by residents of India, China, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. I would like to establish similar cooperation with Mongolian producers, said Irina Kravchenya, a leading specialist of the BUCE Department of Foreign Economic Activities, during the presentation of the advantages of the exchange mechanism as a link between the economic entities of Belarus and Mongolia.

It is expected that assistance in informing and attracting Mongolian business circles to BUCEB will be provided by the Embassy of Belarus in Mongolia, an agreement on cooperation with which was reached on the sidelines of the Ulaanbaatar Partnetrship exhibition, as well as a new exchange broker of BUCEB - Monbrok LLC, accredited in August 2026. This company intends not only to help Mongolian manufacturing and trading enterprises to conclude transactions on the Belarusian exchange platform, but also, if necessary, to solve issues of mutual settlements and logistics.
