Belarus and Tatarstan to strengthen non-resource vector of exchange trade
The nomenclature of goods involved in the exchange trade of Belarus and Tatarstan is planned to be expanded at the expense of non-resource positions, including machines, etc.

The range of goods involved in the exchange trade of Belarus and Tatarstan is planned to be expanded at the expense of non-primary items, including machinery, equipment, machinery, spare parts and components. To this end, within the framework of the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. Belarus signed a cooperation agreement between the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange and the Tatarstan company Technogroup LLC. Details sb.by reported in the press service of BUCE.

The main sphere of activity of the new partner of the Belarusian exchange is service and sale of agricultural and special equipment. It is expected that the interaction of the two organizations will attract new bidders from Tatarstan to our platform and increase exchange turnover with this region of Russia, which is now one of the largest buyers of dairy products at BUCE.
- According to the results of 9 months of 2026, Tatarstan took the fifth place among all regions of Russia in terms of purchases of dairy products at exchange trading. The greatest demand among Tatarstan traders was Belarusian powdered milk. This position provided 73 percent of all exchange transactions between Belarus and Tatarstan in value terms. The second most popular product was butter. Its share in trade with Tatarstan is 22 percent. Nevertheless, today it is obvious that the further development of mutual exchange trade requires new growth points, including in the non-commodity segment. It is this direction that we intend to work purposefully together with our Tatarstan partner, who in the future may receive the status of an exchange broker, said Yaroslav Kovalchuk, head of the BUTB Foreign Economic Affairs Department, after the signing ceremony of the agreement with Technogroup LLC.
As of October 5, 2026, 68 residents of the Republic of Tatarstan were accredited at BUTB, which is 8 companies more than at the beginning of the year. The entire volume of exchange transactions of Tatarstan bidders in January-September 2026 fell on the import of Belarusian agricultural products.
