“We see these initiatives as an alternative to the logic of confrontation. Transport is one of the key foundations of the modern economy. Production, trade, investment and international supply chains directly depend on transport links. Therefore, the development of transport infrastructure and improving the quality of logistics services are the most important conditions for sustainable development, he said.
The Minister emphasized the importance of the Framework for Global Development and Cooperation in Sustainable Transport presented at the Global Forum. This document has full support in Belarus. It is aimed at improving infrastructure connectivity, innovating, facilitating trade and investment, respecting the principles of openness and inclusiveness, and, most importantly, developing land, sea, air and digital links.
Belarus attaches priority to sustainable transport. The Government approved the State Program “Transport of Belarus” for 2026-2030 in order to ensure efficient and sustainable operation of the transport system, increase its technological level and expand the use of digital intelligent solutions.
