Belarusian farmers threshed more than 9.5 million tons of grain, including rapeseed and corn

According to operational data on the morning of October 5, 9 million 533 thousand tons of grain were threshed in agricultural organizations and peasant farms, taking into account rapeseed and corn. This was reported by sb.by in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

In terms of regions, the leadership is maintained by the Minsk region with an indicator of 2 million 517 thousand tons. Grodno region ground 1 million 880 thousand tons, Brest - 1 million 761 thousand tons, Mogilev - 1 million 238 thousand tons, Gomel - 1 million 148 thousand tons, Vitebsk - 989 thousand tons.

Smell under the sowing of winter grain 1 million 489 thousand hectares, which is 99 percent of the plan of 1 million 500 thousand hectares. Winter grains for grain were sown 1 million 331 thousand hectares - 89 percent of the plan.

The land trust was raised on an area of 43 thousand hectares, which is almost 100 percent of the planned area. The wrapping of the flax ribbons was made on 23 thousand hectares - 54 percent of the ground. 156 thousand tons of flax trusts were harvested.

Hay harvested 614 thousand tons (86 percent of the plan), hay — 12 million 825 thousand tons (90 percent of the plan), silage — 12 million 241 thousand tons (61 percent of the plan). The total volume of harvested herbal feed in terms of feed units reached 7 million 300 thousand tons - 72 percent of the annual plan of 10 million 131 thousand tons. Corn on the silo removed from 63 percent of the area is 597,000 hectares.

For the upcoming sowing of winter crops, there are 359 thousand tons of active substance of mineral fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus and potash), which is 208 percent of the plan.

Sugar beets were removed from the area of 50 thousand hectares - 46 percent of the plan of 109 thousand hectares. 2 million 311 thousand tons of root crops were dug up with an average yield of 465 centners per hectare. In the Minsk region, 889 thousand tons were dug up, Grodno - 809 thousand tons, Brest - 382 thousand tons, Mogilev - 204 thousand tons, Vitebsk - 20 thousand tons, Gomel - 7 thousand tons.

Potatoes were removed from 63 percent of the country's area - 14 thousand hectares from the plan of 22 thousand hectares. 461 thousand tons of potatoes were dug up with an average yield of 332 centners per hectare, which is 13 centners higher than last year. In the Mogilev region, 119 thousand tons have been dug up, Minsk - 114 thousand tons, Brest - 95 thousand tons, Gomel - 51 thousand tons, Grodno - 49 thousand tons, Vitebsk - 33 thousand tons.

In total, 81 thousand tons of vegetables grown in open ground were harvested in the country with a yield of 324 centners per hectare, which is 22 centners higher than last year.
