BUCE has simplified the access of Uzbek companies to exchange trading
Companies accredited at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UzRTSB) have the opportunity to participate in exchange trading on the Belarusian Stock Exchange.

Companies accredited at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UzRTSB) have the opportunity to participate in exchange trading on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange without providing a deposit - the amount of money that all new customers are generally required to make to ensure the fulfillment of obligations under exchange transactions and an exchange service contract. This decision was made following the meeting of the BUCE Board as part of the implementation of the roadmap for the development of trade, economic, social and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan for 2026-2030, approved by the heads of the two states in July this year. Details sb.by reported in the press service of BUCE.

In addition, a special information section has been created on the website of UZRTSB, which allows Uzbek companies to get acquainted with export and import commodity items available on BUCEB, schedule of trading sessions, daily quotes, as well as registers of purchase and sale applications. A similar section dedicated to UzRTSB was created on the website of the Belarusian exchange.
The legal basis for deepening the interaction between the two exchanges was the agreement on the development of strategic partnership between BUTB and UzRTSB, signed in February 2026. The document provides for mutual access of Belarusian and Uzbek enterprises to the exchange markets of the two countries, exchange of information and implementation of joint projects.
- This is a qualitatively new stage of cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the exchange sector. In fact, we are moving from individual partner projects and initiatives to the systemic integration of exchange markets. Thus, the liquidity of bidding increases and the range of their participants expands, and favorable conditions are provided for increasing mutual trade, unlocking the export potential of our countries and building long-term business ties. This is a contribution to the development of a common economic space and the strengthening of trade relations on a mutually beneficial basis, said Alexander Osmolovsky, Chairman of the Board of BUTB.
- Exemption of bidders from the need to make deposits significantly reduces the financial burden on business, simplifies the procedure for concluding transactions and eliminates barriers for entrepreneurs entering the export-import commodity markets of the two countries. This decision will not only increase the efficiency of exchange operations and the volume of mutual trade, but also strengthen trust between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Belarus, creating a reliable and effective platform for transparent joint trade, said Asadulla Kayumov, Chairman of the Board of UZRTSB.
Today, Uzbekistan ranks third in terms of exchange turnover among all countries represented at BUCE, with a growth rate of transactions of 129% by January-September 2025. At the same time, 307 Uzbek companies are accredited to participate in the bidding, which is 55 more than at the beginning of the year. Two of them have the status of stock brokers.
