Cherepetskaya GRES sells 300 tons of scrap metal for 39 million rubles

Branch "Cherepetskaya GRES named after D. G. Zhimerin" in the city of Suvorov (part of JSC "Inter RAO - Power Generation") announced another tender for the sale of scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals. The lot of 300 tons is exhibited on the electronic trading platform "Inter RAO", the initial price is 39 million rubles.

The lot includes scrap cable products: mixed copper and aluminum cables of different types. This scrap was formed on the territory of the station as a result of dismantling works.

Bidders are subject to strict requirements: the company must have valid licenses for the procurement, storage, processing and sale of non-ferrous metal scrap, as well as for the management of waste I-IV hazard classes (including collection, transportation, processing and disposal).

Earlier, “MK in Tula” has repeatedly written about the sales of scrap metal from the Cherepetskaya GRES. More recently, Cherepetskaya GRES sold hundreds of tons of scrap metal worth 59 and 166 million rubles. The implementation of such an impressive volume of scrap metal is usually associated with large-scale work to dismantle obsolete equipment or modernize the production facilities of the plant in Suvorov.
