Chuvashia and Rosselkhozbank approved a cooperation plan until 2030

At the Golden Autumn agro-industrial exhibition, a roadmap to the cooperation agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Chuvashia and Rosselkhozbank JSC was signed. The document is designed for 2026-2030.

The parties plan to work together on the development of agriculture and rural areas, preferential lending to the agro-industrial complex, support for agro-tourism and increase the availability of banking services in rural districts. Educational seminars and webinars are also provided for farmers.

We consider Rosselkhozbank one of the main institutions for supporting agriculture in our republic, and we expect new forms of cooperation to improve the efficiency of existing ones. It is very important for us that today Rosselkhozbank accompanies not only the largest investment projects in the agro-industrial complex of the republic, which are projects-drivers of the strategy for the development of agriculture within the framework of the comprehensive program of socio-economic development of the republic. It is very important for us that Rosselkhozbank today, together with farmers, determines the future of not just the industry, but the future of the republic is investments in human capital, said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Andrei Makushev.

Separate areas will be the deep processing of agricultural products, the development of farming, human resources and hop farming.

“Agro-industrial complex of Chuvashia is actively developing. Now we have signed a roadmap on the most important areas until 2030. First of all, it is the implementation of key investment projects that will further expand the work of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. In addition, we will focus on projects related to deep processing, with an increase in margins for agricultural producers. An important, big block is working with the farming community, including in terms of activities and development of the ecosystem. A separate direction is the development of human resources. We will also restore a number of industries, for example, hop farming. We hope that our hops will again become the best in the world, said Denis Konstantinov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the RSHB.

The branch of Rosselkhozbank has been operating in Chuvashia since 2000. Over 26 years, the bank has invested more than 118 billion rubles in the regional economy, of which 78.5 billion rubles in the agricultural sector. In 2026, 37 applications for investment loans for 625.5 million rubles were approved.

Since 2020, under the rural mortgage program, residents of Chuvashia have received 4.1 billion rubles. The housing conditions improved 1,794 families. Another 286 people were trained within the seven streams of the Farmer’s School project, 65 graduates received grants worth more than 425 million rubles.
