Delegation of official and business circles of Brest region to visit Vietnam

The delegation of the Brest region went on a visit to Vietnam. Belta writes about it.

The delegation of official and business circles of the southwestern region was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Mikhail Batsenko. The purpose of the trip is to deepen bilateral relations, expand trade and economic ties and develop industrial cooperation between enterprises of the Brest region and Vietnamese partners. The program provides for a number of business meetings and negotiations, the press service of the Brest Regional Executive Committee said.

The visit to Laokai Province, which will last until September 18, is envisaged by the cooperation program of the Brest Regional Executive Committee and the People’s Committee of Laokai Province for 2026-2028, which was signed this April. The delegation of the Brest region included representatives of the regional executive committee, the administration of the FEZ "Brest", Brest State Polytechnic College, Brest Regional Base "Bakaleia", IOOO "Vastega", Sifania-Ecotechnics, LLC "AgroPishcheProm". Meetings and negotiations with the leadership of Laokai, visits to a number of industrial and social facilities, including educational institutions, are planned.

Brest region and the Vietnamese province of Laokai are linked by twinning relations. The Belarusian side expects that the current visit will give a new impetus to the implementation of joint projects with Asian partners.
