EDB analysts noted:

- The slowdown is due to the alignment of grain harvesting times: agricultural production expansion slowed to 6.5 percent after 12.9 percent, as well as cooling activity in industry and construction.

According to experts, the economy supports consumer demand.

- Retail turnover grew by 8.4 percent after 8.1 percent, helped by an increase in real disposable income by 8.1 percent in January-July. In the absence of new shocks, the growth of the Belarusian economy may exceed our forecast and amount to more than 2 percent by the end of 2026, the bank said.
