Glubok dairy plant modernizes production within the framework of the Regional Initiative project

To a large-scale upgrade of capacities begins OJSC "Gluboksky dairy cannery". The first stage of the project “Technical modernization of the canning shop” is included in the list of investment initiatives, which will become an important driver of the socio-economic development of the district.

According to the website of the district newspaper "Vesnik Glybochkyny", the company occupies a dominant position in the economy of the district, it accounts for more than 50 percent of the total production. The factory currently employs 775 people.

The project, designed for 2026-2030, is aimed at deep processing of raw materials, said Tatyana Konstantinova, Deputy Chairman of the Glubok District Executive Committee. The main task is to separate the production lines of classical canned milk and whey-based products, which are now produced on the same equipment. As part of the modernization, it is planned to purchase new technological lines, automate processes and update existing equipment.

The project will allow the company to process up to 1,280 tons of its own whey, producing 3.1 million conditional cans of products. This will ensure an increase in production capacity utilization by 4%. It is expected that the launch of the updated lines will not only increase export revenue, but also provide additional tax revenues to the budget.
