Freight traffic along the Northern Sea Route increased by 20% for the year

Also, transit cargo traffic has already broken the historical record of last year and amounted to 3.4 million tons. These results were discussed at the company’s annual officer conference. It was attended by about 260 people: captains, chief mechanical engineers, heads of ship and shore services.
The meeting outlined goals for the future period. Particular attention was paid to security, efficiency and digitalization. The participants discussed the development of the Northern Sea Route, including the formation of the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor.
