From 2027, updated, tightened standards for territorial network organizations (TSO) begin to operate in Russia. They were approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1282 of October 2, 2026. This was reported on October 5 in the Ministry of tariff regulation of the Voronezh region.
These innovations are aimed at consolidating the market, strengthening the stability of energy supply and withdrawing companies operating inefficiently from the market.
Main adjustments to the criteria:
For whom the new rules do not apply.
Action plan for the Voronezh region:
What are the consequences for the sector: the Ministry of Tariff Regulation of the Voronezh Region will take into account new criteria when calculating tariffs for 2027 and subsequent periods. Companies that cannot confirm compliance with the new requirements for capacity and length will lose the status of TCO. In this case, they will cease to fall under state regulation in terms of tariffs for the transmission of electricity (capacity) for 2027.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the tightening of requirements is part of a comprehensive work to reduce the total number of TCOs in the regions (ultimately, it is planned to leave 3-4 organizations per subject), as well as to form a single responsibility center that will prevent accidents and eliminate their consequences.
Earlier, Voronezh explained in what cases in the apartment can turn off electricity.
