As Smolyansk Olesya Antonova opened a speech therapy office with the support of the center “My Business”

Olesya Antonova, a resident of the Smolensk region, who worked as a lawyer for many years, changed her profession and opened a private speech therapy room to help children. After receiving a second education, she worked for several years with children with severe speech disorders in a public institution, after which she decided to start her own business.

At the start stage, she was supported by the regional center “My Business”. Specialists helped Olesa to formalize the status of an individual entrepreneur, draw up a competent business plan for obtaining a social contract and understand the legal nuances. It procured the necessary equipment and teaching aids with the grant funds allocated.

The path in business was not easy: the entrepreneur had to find a suitable room and explain to her parents that correction of speech is a long and painstaking work. However, professionalism and sincere involvement helped her overcome all difficulties. Today Olesya continues to develop - she became the winner of the contest "My success", having received a package of advertising services. She plans to open a full-fledged children's correction center.

Governor Vasily Anokhin noted that the history of Olesya is a vivid example of how the desire to bring benefit can become the basis for business. In the Smolensk region there is a comprehensive support program: novice entrepreneurs can undergo training under the First Start program and receive up to 500 thousand rubles, and in the status of self-employed under a social contract - up to 700 thousand rubles. Preferential loans and other support measures are also available in the region.
