Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Yuri Karaev visited the Volkovysk OJSC Bellakt, where he got acquainted with the construction of a new dry baby food shop and semi-finished products workshop, writes sb.by.
The company is implementing a large-scale initiative "One district - one project". We are talking about the investment project “Construction of a workshop for the production of dry baby food according to the GMP standard”. The project is of great importance, as the company currently operates with almost one hundred percent capacity utilization.
- The new Bellacta workshop is the most important innovative project of the processing industry of the Grodno region - along with the construction of a new workshop of the Dairy World in Skidel and the workshop of the Lida dairy and canning plant.
OJSC Bellakt is the only manufacturer of dry baby food in Belarus. The new plant for the production of dry infant formula according to GMP standards will allow to double the production volume - from 7.5 thousand to 15 thousand tons per year.
The total cost of the project is estimated at 380 million. The implementation will allow to process an additional 61 thousand tons of milk per year and create 60 new jobs. The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for 2028.
