The goal of the President to hold a large-scale seminar in Shklovsky district is for each chairman of the district executive committee to project the proposed experience to his region. This was told to journalists by the Head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Krutoy today, November 8, at the republican training seminar on modern approaches to regional development on the example of Shklovsky district.
Heads of all 118 districts and city administrations of Belarus came to Shklovsky district and saw with their own eyes the results of a large Shklovsky experiment, which primarily concerns agriculture
- These are organizational changes in terms of the number of agricultural enterprises, as well as investment ones – new construction, restoration of basic organizations that existed before. Here, on the example of one region, literally within a radius of 30-40 kilometers, you can see everything in the complex. The participants of the seminar are divided into groups according to the regional principle and visit key points that we have been actively engaged in for the past two years.
According to Dmitry Krutoy, the President’s goal is for each chairman of the district executive committee to project this experience on his region and, together with specialists, decide what is best for them. However, it is not necessary to copy everywhere exactly: the same machine yard can be made somewhere twice cheaper or take individual elements - it is important to learn the very practice and logistics of placing agricultural machinery on farms.
“The participants of the seminar of Shklovsky district saw the whole palette of the agricultural complex: both on the example of initially strong farms, and on the example of enterprises that were problematic yesterday, but today are returning to an acceptable level,” the Head of the Presidential Administration emphasized.
