This is reported by the Financial Times (FT), citing sources. The main amount for the deal, according to the newspaper, plans to make Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the brother of the President of the UAE.
A smaller share will belong to the Qatari Al-Hayat family. DFC intends to acquire about 15% of the consortium. Negotiations to purchase assets are at an advanced stage.
At the same time, the company has previously agreed to sell them to the American Carlyle, but the deal has not yet been completed due to the lack of final approval from the United States.
