Modernization of the mineral fertilizer storage base in Shklov has increased revenue and quality of services

The Shklov base for processing and storage of mineral fertilizers became one of the locations of the republican seminar for managers dedicated to modern approaches to regional development. The enterprise is one of the eight bases of agricultural chemistry of OJSC "Managing Company of Agromashservice Holding", distributed by service zones. The main purpose of investments in the modernization of the Shklov production site was to ensure the safety of expensive raw materials and improve the quality of services for agricultural enterprises, the correspondent of sb.by reports.

The base in Shklov serves not only its district, but also neighboring Kruglyansky and Belynichsky. The production site became the property of Agromashservice Holding in 2024. At the expense of the company's own funds, a large-scale modernization and repair was carried out with a total cost of 4.3 million rubles: modern equipment was purchased, warehouses and access roads were repaired.

In the course of work on a number of objects, roofs were replaced and the walls were sheathed with a durable metal profile, a new spacious arched warehouse was erected, and containers for dolomite flour and liquid mineral fertilizers were restored. Two more soft polymer storages for urea-ammonia mixture were added to the two existing tanks. Similar to huge water mattresses, they guarantee one hundred percent protection against corrosion and a long service life. In addition, all access roads to the base were concreted.

The company has about 20 employees, including drivers, loaders and mechanics. The average monthly salary here has already increased to 3555 rubles. Since work with dust and chemical compositions is traditionally considered difficult, special attention was paid to the creation of comfortable living conditions for staff.

According to the head of the base Anatoly Bolobosov, in 2026 the enterprise processed 20 thousand tons of liquid and 28 thousand tons of solid mineral fertilizers, as well as 11 thousand tons of lime materials. The mechanized link for limestone and fertilizer application consists of eight units of equipment. For nine months, revenue from the provision of services exceeded 3.7 million rubles, which is 104 percent compared to the level of 2025.

Holding "Agromashservice" performs the functions of regional agricultural machinery and agricultural chemistry. It consists of eight chemicalization bases and seven interdistrict enterprises. They are engaged in the repair of equipment, the supply of spare parts, warranty and post-warranty service, the development of the secondary market of spare parts and machines, as well as the provision of farmers with mineral fertilizers and plant protection products. The capacities of the bases allow simultaneous storage of more than 100 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers.

Vyacheslav Sosnovsky, General Director of Agromashservice Holding Management Company, noted that the company’s development roadmap clearly spelled out modernization, strengthening of mechanized squads and strengthening of personnel potential:

- Until 2030, repairs are planned at seven more bases totaling 23 million rubles. In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, five mechanized detachments were created in the region, in which there are 327 units of equipment. Their share in feed harvesting, removal of organic fertilizers and plowing was 16.5 percent, and the average output per unit is two and a half times higher than the regional indicator.

In 2026, the holding’s production facilities processed 248,000 tons of mineral fertilizers (108 percent to the level of 2025). In particular, 75 thousand tons of dolomite dust were processed, services were provided for limestone of acidic soils on an area of 13.5 thousand hectares, as well as for chemical weeding and application of liquid mineral fertilizers on 62 thousand hectares. It is worth noting that the entire volume of regional limestone today is carried out by the holding organizations.

Yakov Yarotsky, a leading expert on consulting work of the Committee on Agriculture and Food of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, noted that this base is the most progressive for the region, the seminar program includes a master class:

- An important technological requirement is the qualitative and even distribution of fertilizers in the fields. The President always pays attention to this issue. And to perform the process strictly according to technology, you need accurate adjustments of agricultural machinery. And here already arises the question of qualified personnel - trained mechanics. On this basis, all components are introduced in Shklov: from high-quality storage to the organization of services to agricultural organizations. By introducing such a comprehensive turnkey approach, we are solving the main task set by the Head of State – ensuring maximum return on land and guaranteeing the country’s food security.

Chairman of the Bykhov District Executive Committee Alexander Kiselev noted the relevance of the points of the seminar route:

- In Bykhov district, the production site of the base for processing and storage of mineral fertilizers of the Agromashservice holding is successfully functioning. At the same time, the issue of modernization and construction of grain drying complexes remains extremely relevant for us, because in terms of area we are the largest district in the region. Another optimal solution is the launch of a feed mill in Shklov. From an economic point of view, this is an obvious advantage, allowing you to have processing within walking distance. Today, the strategic task of the agro-industrial complex of the region is an efficient, working economy with maximum return on each invested ruble. It is impossible to achieve this without providing livestock with quality feed. That is why we are now looking for new formats so that technological and logistics approaches bring maximum results.
