The capacity of the feed mill in Shklov after modernization completely cover the needs of the district

Modernization of the workshop for the production of dry feed in Shklov was carried out on behalf of the President in 2024-2025. The enterprise became one of the points of the route of the republican seminar for managers dedicated to modern approaches to regional development. Now the production capacity is 100 thousand tons of feed per year, the company plans to increase volumes, reports sb.by.

Investments in the modernization of the workshop for the production of dry feed amounted to 22 million rubles. The company now has its own brand Shklov Mill. The production capacity is 100 thousand tons of feed per year. There is also a line for processing rapeseed oil seeds with a capacity of up to five thousand tons per year, two grain drying complexes with a capacity of 30 and 40 tons per hour.

Denis Moyzyato, Director of Shklovskaya Mill, emphasizes that the main effect of modernization is economic, because for the growth of yields and gain in the diet of animals there should be mixed feed, not just grain:

- At this stage, the capacity of the enterprise covers the need of agricultural enterprises of the Shklovsky district. In the future – the transfer of the plant to round-the-clock operation, we plan to add another 60 thousand for additional implementation.

The expected revenue is estimated at 106 million rubles per year. The company employs 55 people. For them, modernization means improving working conditions and increasing wages.

Now every truck with grain entering the territory of the processing plant passes the barrier. Disinfection of equipment in the production of animal feed is an important component of product quality and safety. The new device, as well as a computerized weight, updated quality control laboratory with an automatic grain sampler, are all elements of modernization of production. The microclimate in grain storage tanks is controlled by a computer. As for the receiving bunkers, one was built from scratch, the second was reconstructed. A new technological link – a chain transporter for grain – connected the dryers to the production line, before raw materials had to be transported by machines.

Compound feed by type is shipped automatically, the machine park for delivery has been updated, a new arch for storing protein raw materials has been built, as well as a convenient receiving point for unloading wagons with mineral additives, the foundation for transport lines for supplying grain to bunkers has been filled. The laboratory and administrative building was also reconstructed.

Chairman of the Starodorozhsky District Executive Committee Alexander Protashchik noted that the agro-industrial complex facilities in Shklovsky district, which were demonstrated to the participants of the seminar, are of interest from the point of view of technological approaches:

- In the first place is discipline, bringing order. We see a modern approach to make it comfortable for people to work and attract young people to agriculture. A lot has already been done in the country. Our neighborhood is agricultural. The development program focuses on the dairy direction. This year, 11 dispensaries for young animals were built, next year the construction of two dairy complexes is planned. The seminar is an opportunity to exchange experience, to see technological innovations in business.

Vitaly Platun, Chairman of the Slutsk District Executive Committee, said that a direct dialogue with agricultural organizations that can share effective technologies causes great interest when visiting objects:

- We visited the ITC in Shklovsky district for 2,200 heads, and the Deputy Director for Livestock enthusiastically talked about the achievements. The most important secret is teamwork for results, so the emphasis on the ground should be on strengthening technology. We also have our own feed mill, our own agricultural service, but you can always look at effective approaches from neighbors.
