In less than 9 months of 2026, the amount of exchange transactions for the implementation of works and services in the field of construction performed at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange reached 70 million rubles. Thus, this area of exchange trading has become one of the fastest growing on BUCE, demonstrating a monthly double-digit increase in transaction volumes. This was announced by the head of the bidding department for promising goods BUTB Maxim Khomich, speaking at the business session “Digital tools and methodology of end-to-end management of the life cycle of construction and real estate”, which was held within the XXVIII International architectural and construction exhibition BUDEXPO-2026.

According to the representative of BUTB, the dynamic development of exchange trade in construction works and services is, on the one hand, the result of large-scale information work that was carried out with customers and performers at the stage of launching the electronic platform "Works and Services". And on the other hand, the interest of bidders in obtaining economic effect from the use of the exchange mechanism.

- Now on the site daily there are about 500 active applications from customers and performers of works and services. At the same time, compared to the first months after the launch of the Works and Services platform, the number of orders for large amounts has significantly increased. This is due to the fact that having received a price reduction of 15-20 percent on small trial orders, customers tend to scale this effect by placing applications for more work and services. As a result, contractors, the bulk of which are small and medium-sized businesses, have access to large orders and, accordingly, the possibility of additional earnings, said Maxim Khomich.

During the business session “Digital Tools and Methodology of End-to-End Management of the Life Cycle of Construction and Real Estate Objects”, a solemn ceremony of awarding awards to enterprises and organizations of the country for their active participation in the development of the Belarusian construction industry was also held.
