On the section of the highway Arkhangelsk – Onega road workers moved to the final arrangement

Major repairs of the segment from the 47th to the 60th kilometer reached the finish line.

“Now the contractor installs road signs, barrier fences, signal poles and guide devices,” said Alexander Tsybulsky, Governor of the Arkhangelsk region. These works will be completed before the end of November, after which the facility will be put into operation.

The overhaul of this section of the Arkhangelsk-Onega highway has been underway since July last year. During this time, more than 12 kilometers of gravel was transferred to asphalt concrete.

In parallel, work is underway on the segment from the 60th to the 73rd kilometer: materials are harvested there and pipes are repaired. The main front of road works on this site will unfold next year, and the facility is planned to be commissioned at the end of November 2027.

Following the overhaul of the two launch complexes, more than 25 kilometers of the Arkhangelsk-Onega road will be transferred to asphalt concrete.
