The new building of the children's boarding house "Solnechny" in Minsk is planned to be commissioned in May 2027

The new building of the children's social boarding house "Solnechny", which is being built in Minsk on the street. Vygotsky, 16, is scheduled to be handed over in May 2027. This was reported by sb.by in GPO Minskstroy.

The building is already taking shape - a two-storey building with an area of 6.6 thousand square meters. m consists of six interconnected buildings. A large amount of masonry work is carried out at the facility: four brigades of masons work, two of them by rotational method. Next week they plan to complete the masonry of the exterior walls, and in November – internal partitions.

Builders aim to close the heat circuit before it gets cold to start supplying heat. Engineering networks have already been installed in buildings, roofing works are continuing, windows are being installed.

Heating will be included in stages. The gym and swimming pool will be the first to receive heat: plaster work begins there this week. They will be sculpted and painted in the spring.

The foundations for the boarding house fence are ready. This month, builders will begin installing fences from sulfurless blocks.

The building is built on the site of the old buildings of the boarding house "Sunny". The complex is designed for 120 children with special needs. Here they will be able to live, study, communicate, undergo rehabilitation and receive health services. The complex provides six functional blocks, including living quarters, medical and educational-rehabilitation blocks, as well as sports and recreational units.
