From 100 thousand per month: how to change the amount of childcare benefits by 2028

Already in 2027, the maximum allowance for baby care will reach an impressive amount of 95,580 rubles. This is 12 559 rubles more than in the current 2026, when the maximum payment is 83 021 rubles.

The government does not stop there. In 2028, a new jump in payments is expected - up to 104,775 rubles. This means that in comparison with 2026, the allowance will increase by almost 22 thousand rubles!

By 2029, the benefit will reach 114,104 rubles. Compared to the current year, this is more than 31 thousand rubles more.

These changes are designed to support young parents and make parental leave more financially comfortable. The government continues to work on improving social support for families with children.

Earlier, MK in Tula wrote that the Tula branch of the Social Fund of Russia since the beginning of the year transferred more than 413 million rubles as monthly payments from the maternity capital.

A popular choice was made by 2,550 Tula families who decided to dispose of the certificate in this way. This form of support makes it possible to use maternity capital funds to cover the daily costs of maintaining children.

The main advantage of this type of payment is the absence of a requirement for “zero” income and valuation of family property. However, there is a limit on the level of income - it should not exceed double the subsistence minimum for each family member.

Financial conditions for 2026 set a maximum threshold of 37,878 rubles. The calculation takes into account all types of income for the previous year: wages, bonus payments, pension accruals and social benefits.
